Sismo de magnitud 6,2 se registra frente a la costa norte de Papúa Nueva Guinea

Un terremoto de magnitud 6,2 se registró este lunes en el Pacífico frente a la costa norte de Papúa Nueva Guinea, informó el Instituto Geológico de Estados Unidos. El sismo, que ocurrió a las 22.44 GMT del lunes, tuvo su epicentro a 34 kilómetros de profundidad y a 44 kilómetros al sureste de Wewak (Papúa Nueva Guinea). Hasta el momento no se ha emitido una alerta de tsunami. EFE
